238 Union Road
Ascot Vale Vic 3032
Nothing beats the feeling of hitting the open road with a caravan on the back of the car, knowing you’re on the way to a place where the air is clean, away from responsibility and everyday life. Well now you can get that feeling just a few kilometers from the city thanks to Motorhome Majestic. Brought to us by the team behind Grand Trailer Park Taverna and Truck Stop Delux, they’ve replicated a standard caravan park with all the trimmings from Jayco caravans with awnings to classic park benches, all in suburban Ascot Vale. The venue is bright and playful, drawing inspiration from vintage holiday parks to create a retro yet modern space.
Like its sister restaurants the menu is built around big rich American style burgers, with a couple of extras like hotdogs and Winnebago wings. You really need to be up to the challenge to devour some of the burgers on offer, like the Area 51 with its double beef patty, double bacon, double cheese, secret sauce and salad. Juicy and full of flavour, it’s probably best to avoid a cholesterol test after consuming this number.
If chicken is more your thing there’s the Big Bird with double buttermilk fried chicken, double bacon, double cheese, aioli and capsicum Napoli. Once again juicy and tender without being greasy.
As custom states it would be sacrilege to enjoy a burger without some sort of fried side and naturally they’ve got you covered with their super crispy beer chips and onion rings which are some of the best I’ve tried. Then you can wash it all down with a cheeky spiked shake. We’ve all seen those spiked kinder surprise shakes from Grand Trailer Park and given their popularity Motorhome Majestic now have them on offer too.
Kids are also well looked after, with a great value kids menu which includes a burger or nuggets, chips, drink and ice cream all for $10.90.
With something for the whole family, this is a great spot to grab a meal whether you’re flying solo, a couple or feeding the kids.
